Mr. Jan Muhammad, working right now as Director General in  Agriculture Department of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province of Pakistan, was belongs to Charbagh Swat. He was graduated from the Agriculture University Peshawar and then he joined Agriculture Department as Agriculture Officer (Extension) in District Swat. For a few years, he also worked in Kalam Integrated Development Project of Swiss Development Corporation (SDC) which was implemented by Intercooperation, an INGO, in Kalam and then the whole of areas now included in Tehsil Behrain of District Swat.

Mr. Jan Muhammad is also having experience of work in the Food and Agriculture Organisation(FAO) of the United Nation as Livelihood Management Coordinator for District Shangla in the rehabilitation project of ERRA and FAO.

Mr. Jan Muhammad also worked as Agriculture Specialist with the FATA Livelihood Development Project of US AID and FATA Secretariat.

In his government job, Mr. Jan Muhammad was promoted a few years back to the highest technical position in the department he works in and right now, he is working as Director General Agriculture Extension in the Agriculture Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.

Because of his expertise un livelihood development with focus on agriculture and his skills and experience in management, coordination, research and community outreach, Mr. Jan Muhammad is a valuable addition to QAFELA.
