Prof. Jehan Sher, the ex- CEO, remained the Chairman BoG in the initial period and latter on, he worked as the Chief Executive Officer of QAFELA from March 2015 to December, 2023. While performing his government duty as Professor and Principal, he gave full time (08 hours each working day) to QAFELA to guide and lead the NGO staff in project planning, designing, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and learning. He also trained the subordinate staff in community engagement, community development, need assessment, project planning and management, emergency response through relief, recovery and rehabilitation, monitoring, evaluation, impact assessment and reporting. He left the job in December 2023 after he realized the the NGO staff had been capacitated enough to implement activities for the weal of those who are in need.
